Dog Challenges

The 2017 Show features a number of dog challenges: the Barry Scott Memorial Working Dog Agility Short Course on FRIDAY, the Farm Dog Challenge and the Dog Jumping Competition on SATURDAY.

The Working Dog Agility Course comprising of fences, gates, hay stacks, quad and utes, tyres and drums used to showcase what a working dog faces on the farm on a day to day basis. The course will have a total of 15 combinations to complete in the fastest time with the most points. Prize money for First, Second and Third available for grabs. The Farm Dog Challenge consists of you and your dog working a small mob of cattle through a number of obstacles within 6 minutes. Judged on course success and time. Limited Entries. Winner receives Hypro Working Dog Plus. Prizes up to 5th place. Course walk at 7:30 am sharp, starting time 8 am Saturday.  The Dog Jumping competition is run in two classes for small dogs, shoulder height under 50cm, and large dogs, shoulder height 50cm & over. Entries on the day.
